Your material
You keep responsibility for the memories, names, photographs, and other material you submit. You confirm that you have permission to use them for this private gift. You give HeartTape permission to process that material only as needed to create, review, deliver, protect, and support the order.
Truth and creative interpretation
HeartTape is designed not to invent family facts, but creative systems can make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing the story brief, lyrics, song choice, storyboard, and final proof. Musical style, symbolic imagery, pacing, and visual treatments are creative interpretations—not documentary claims.
Orders and timing
The price and included deliverables shown at checkout govern the order. Production begins after successful payment and required approvals. A requested gift date helps the team plan but is not a guaranteed deadline until confirmed. Included revision rounds are shown before a film purchase; a new direction or material scope change may require a separate quote.
AI motion and identity
HeartTape will not use voice cloning or default lip-sync. Uploaded photographs receive AI motion only when the creator opts in. Generated bridge imagery should remain symbolic and should never be presented as a real family event.
Sharing and respectful use
Creator and contributor links are private access credentials. You are responsible for sharing them carefully. Do not use HeartTape to impersonate, harass, deceive, violate privacy, or create material you do not have the right to use.
Problems with an order
If something is technically defective or materially different from the purchased package, contact support through the channel in the order confirmation. Remedies depend on the production stage and applicable law. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
These launch terms require counsel review before broad public release, especially for refund policy, jurisdiction, provider terms, copyright, and privacy-law obligations.
